To qualify for an IEP a student must meet the eligibility requirements under the (IDEA). This process involves an evaluation to determine whether the student has one of the recognized disabilities – such as learning disability, ADHD, autism, or an emotional or developmental disorder. If a student is eligible a customized IEP is developed to outline specific goals, services, and supports that address the students individual learning needs
