Understanding IEP
An IEP is a legal document under IDEA that outlines a customized learning plan for students with disabilities. It details the students' goals, the special education services they will receive, and any accommodation needed to support their success in school. The IEP is developed collaboratively by educators, specialists and the students' parents or guardians (The IEP Team).
